You can get Intel’s 11th Gen Core i7 with Intel Iris X graphics in the highest-end models. It is backed by 16GB RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD. Of course, the convertible is also available in cheaper and less powerful variants, such as the base model with an 11th-gen Core i5 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The new 2-in-1 laptop with a Thunderbolt 4 interface can be connected to an 8K display and supports Wi-Fi 6.
Huawei added that the MetBook E8’s entry-level heatsink design includes a shark fin fan and multiple air vents on the side to ensure that the device stays cool even under heavy loads.
There is another 8MP rear camera with an 8MP front camera and LED flash for video calls. You’ll also find four speakers with Huawei Sound.
For charging, it comes with a USB-C powered 65W charging adapter, which can fully charge the battery up to about 54% more in half an hour. A full charge takes about 90 minutes. The MateBook E comes with a 42Wh rated battery, and Huawei claims 5-8 hours of battery life, depending on usage.
